Two Of A Kind

Easton and Alex.

How I love these boys together.

This has not always been the case.

If we rewind three years ago when Alex was three and Easton was two and we began HOPE group together, they were not the bosom buddies they are today.

They fought over toys, got into trouble, including a mural on the wall of markers...praise the Lord for Comet!!

Slowly they have come to love each other.

It has not always been easy, as with any relationship it takes work on both parts and they still have their moments, but it has definately been sweet to watch them grow, both physically and spiritually.

I remember one night at HOPE group Kaylene and I looking at each other when we overheard them sitting across the table talking about what Jesus wants them to do.

It has been a very special part of our week for a long time now coming to HOPE group and Alex immediately running in the door and straight to Easton's room.

I am sad that that era is coming to an end, but I am very excited about being obedient and where He is taking us...remembering how much He has blessed my obedience in coming to your house!!

I am also very excited that we will continue to do church together and that this is the beginning of a new era of Easton and Alex.

Much love to the Carpios!!

they are both HUGE what are you feeding them?

I'm doing a study on the old testament with my 8th grade girls, and to introduce, we had to name our favorite old testament characters...

one of the girls said "Sarah" and I beat her...

not gentle and quiet, I know, but you know how I feel about that woman.

i miss your enchiladas.

Oh, man. The mural.

I really think that that was the
1st time they actually did work together.

Do you remember having to move Easton's fish out of his room every Wednesday. That poor fish. Why i would give my 2 year old a fish at his level is insane.
Hide Sight=20/20.

Kathryn we will so miss you. I just realized i haven't emailed the group about this week!! AcK!!! So you just left and we're already out of the loop.

We are so blessed to know you are lead to another Hope Group. Even though there were tears involved, we have seen you grow amazingly and HAVE to Share you.

Oh, and Your animals are at church. I left them there yesterday on the preschool desk.

Enjoy.
