We Are Making Oobleck
Unlike this book, we are not bored and Oobleck will not fall from the sky and gunk up our city (you should read this book).
I love Dr. Seuss.
I love Dr. Seuss.
But, we are making Oobleck on Friday night.
Most directions for making Oobleck are
1 cup water
1 1/2 cup cornstarch
food coloring
Mix together and have fun.
We, my sweet Nichole and Mary, and I are doing this on a much larger scale.

We are making a pool of oobleck.
What is oobleck you ask?
Oobleck is both a solid and a liquid. It takes the shape of whatever container you put it in (a pool) if you touch it, as long as you are moving, you can hit it or run on it, it is a solid.
If you stop, it turns to liquid.
Ours will be blue like water.
What a perfect illustration of when you are keeping your eyes on the Lord and moving forward you are ok...the minute you stop, you sink.
It will be fun, we will eat hot dogs and get messy.
Come join us.

Can't wait to see pictures!!!
Sounds like ya had fun! Would love to hear an updated post with pictures.
We were sad we missed out with y'all on Friday, so Nichole came over today and made it with my kiddos. But Justus quickly ruined it by adding too much water.
But yes, Nichole and Mary rock! I just love those girls!
